Chunky sterling silver rings

Hi again,

I have made a few chunky silver rings the last few months.
A few of them stayed behind in Norway and some have gone to bling friends in New Zealand.

The latest one is just finished and have been flush set with three gems - one London Blue Topaz in the middle and two amethyst gems on each side.
This is the first one I have made with three gems, all the rest have had only one gem set.
I love them all though!

The ring will soon move into TillaFrost's Felt web shop.
More pictures to be seen on my Facebook and Instagram page "TillaFrost".

Heart and sodalite necklace

I made this pendant a while ago as a school project. Before I went home to Norway, I started creating a new chain of sodalite gems as a gift for my Mum.
Unfortunately, I soon saw that the cord was not strong enough, so took it back to the workshop for some extra work.

Instead of threading the cord through the jump rings on the back of the pendant, I have made it possible to disconnect the cord from both sides of the pendant. It is now easy to clean it and it can also be changed to a standard silver chain if wanted.

Competition ring - Double layered Topaz ring

On the 3rd term this year, we were presented with a challenge from our jewellery teacher.
A basket claw setting and a octagonal cubic circona gem were given us with the message that during this term we could create a jewellery piece that included these items.

After an evening of studying pictures and being inspired, I decided to create a double layered ring.
I have never made anything like this before, so needed a lot of advise from the tutors.
I also wanted to change the pink cubic circone we were given to a lovely topaz I bought a few years ago. They were exactly the same size, so this was luckily not a problem.

Below is the ring I made. For me, it is not an everyday ring I would wear to work. I still love it tough - especially the Topaz gem! It is fun to have a ring for special days as well.

Earrings

Hi bling friends,

It's been a long time since I last wrote on the blog.
Since my last post in May, I have been back to Norway on holiday, came back to New Zealand in July, had a few weeks more at home - and then started in a new position in my old company.
I have been back to work for about two months now, it is good to learn something new and working within a new department with people I already know - a lot of changes is happening within the company early next year so will just have to see what happens next.

Jewellery wise - I am back to 4th term at school. I have made quite a few rings lately, will add some pictures to my page shortly.
A few earrings have been made as well. There are still a few left on my Felt page (web shop - link on the right).
Let me know if there are anything you like? Always good to know for future projects.
